We are grateful for the hard working staff who brave the storms to keep our roadways and community safe!

In preparation of another upcoming snow event, the Hammonton Public Works Department has issued the following information for residents.
???
PUBLIC WORKS-SNOW REMOVAL GUIDLINES:
Our Public Works Department is working hard to make driving safer and easier in snowy weather. Depending on the duration and amount of snowfall, town trucks may plow your street several times. As snow rolls off our plows, it will accumulate in driveways. Please understand that this is unavoidable, and it is the homeowner’s responsibility to clear it. Here are some helpful hints to make “snow” business less frustrating:
Shovel snow to the right side of your driveway (facing the street) to minimize the amount of snow entering your driveway.
If possible, wait until the town trucks have made at least two passes on your street before clearing your driveway. Some wider roadways require multiple passes.
Shovel and/or blow snow onto the curb or the grass, not into the street. This creates hazardous spots.
DO NOT PARK cars on the street from one hour after snow has continuously fallen until 12 hours after snow has stopped. This https://opencuny.org/valiuym-10mg-for-sale/ speeds the removal process and prevents cars from being plowed in.
To ensure safety of pedestrians, residents must remove snow from sidewalks following a snow fall. Please remember that children are walking to school and bus stops are all over town.
In the event of deep snow, please shovel around your mailbox and fire hydrants near your house – for your safety and your neighbors’.
Not all roads in Hammonton are maintained by the Town DPW. During bad weather, we often receive many calls from our residents about the condition of roads whose maintenance is the responsibility of Atlantic County or NJ State DOT. We’re happy to relay your concerns, but if you would like to reach the Atlantic County Public Works Department directly, please call (609) 645-5830, NJ State DOT, please call (609)588-6213. Here is a list of those roads:

Good Afternoon,
If you, or anyone you know, needs a vaccine appointment, here are some helpful tips…
Create a new registration. Each registration must have a unique email address. So each username must be associated with a separate email address: husband & wife, parent & child, etc. Carefully write down your username and password. It is case sensitive.
Even if you already registered on the State of New Jersey’s Vaccine Portal, you MUST register on this website to begin the process of scheduling an appointment at the Atlantic City Mega Site, which is run by AtlantiCare and Atlantic County Government at the Atlantic City Convention Center, connected to the NJ Transit Train Station, near The Walk Outlet Shops (Not Boardwalk Hall.)
Once you have registered, you must visit vaccination.atlanticare.org on one of these days and times. These are the only days and times that appointments are released. Various appointment dates and times https://miso.moe/ativan-2mg-online/ will be released for the days and weeks ahead, but you must visit on these dates and times to schedule:
Tuesdays at 3 p.m.
Thursdays at 6 p.m.
Saturdays at 9 a.m.
We strongly recommend you and your family, friends and neighbors try to log on with as many computers, iPads and phones as possible. Each device you use will increase your chance of getting an appointment. You will be randomly assigned a place in the queue (virtual line.) With a little patience and a lot of luck, you will get the opportunity to schedule an appointment.
Other vaccination locations are also available, but many residents of Hammonton have had good luck getting appointments at the Atlantic City Mega Site. For a complete list of all vaccine sites in New Jersey, visit https://covid19.nj.gov/…/covid-19-vaccine-locations-for….
Questions? Call the Hammonton Coronavirus Task Force Hotline at 609-925-1166, Email help@hammonton.com or visit www.hammonton.com.
