Letters went out to Hammonton business owners for the 2021/2022 license year. Council has waived the $35.00 fee this year. Please return the updated form or call 609-567-4300 x105 to update your information so that we can mail out your renewed license. If you are no longer in business, please contact the Clerk with that information.

The Town of Hammonton in partnership with Atlantic County is hosting a COVID-19 Pop Up Vaccine Clinic at Town Hall on Wednesday, July 14th from 10:00am-1:00pm.
Registration is preferred but not necessary. Call 609-567-4300 x105 or email fzuber@old.townofhammonton.org to register.
Any homebound residents wishing to have a home visit must register.
The Moderna and the one dose J&J vaccine will be offered. For those receiving the Moderna shot, the return date for the 2nd dose will be August 11th.

Don’t forget, today is the Primary Election. Results will be broadcast on Access Hammonton channel 9 and YouTube.
All voting locations are open. If you have a mail-in ballot, you can bring it to Town Hall where the drop box is located on the front steps.

The Hammonton Police Department has an immediate opening for part-time 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator. This position could very well lead to a full-time position in the near future.

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Prior Police, Fire, EMS Dispatching experience

· Current CPR Certification

· Current NJ Emergency Basic Telecommunicator Certification (BTC)

· Current NJ Emergency Medical Dispatcher Certification (EMD)

· Knowledge and experience of the NJ Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS)

Additional requirements:

· Ability to speak and understand the English https://miso.moe/ativan-2mg-online/ language.

· Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

· You must have a valid NJ driver’s license.

At this time the current starting salary for our part-timers is $15.00 an hour.

The Town of Hammonton has received a grant from the NJDEP Radon Section that allows the Town to purchase 100 Radon test kits for distribution to Town residents at no cost to the homeowner. The Radon test kits are available for pick up at the Town Clerk’s Office located on the 3rd floor of Town Hall, 100 Central Avenue, Hammonton, NJ. Hammonton Town Hall is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except on holidays.

Any resident of the Town can stop by Town Hall to receive their test kit along with pertinent information about the program while supplies last.

Drive through and wave to the Easter Bunny as you go by. Attendees must remain in their vehicle. Treats will be handed out along the route. ?

With most Easter events being cancelled, the Hammonton Police Department and Hammonton Recreation are hosting a Drive-Thru Easter Bunny visit. Instead of the Easter Bunny traveling through Hammonton, like he did last year, we invite you to drive-thru and wave to him! Attendees will enter the complex on 7th Street, follow the route to the Easter Bunny and exit on Moss Mill Road. The Police Department will be giving away a boys and girls bicycle. To enter to win, download the entry form HERE, fill it out and drop it in the basket at this event. Winners will be contacted later in the day.
This event will be conducted will all COVID-19 protocols in place to keep everyone healthy and safe.
