Due to the weather conditions the Christmas parade for tonight has been postponed until tomorrow night 7pm. It’s too difficult to predict https://somabest.com what road conditions will be later so I believe that this is best for everyone’s safety.
I? know groups have put a lot of time into their floats and I? hope to see you tomorrow.
Thank you.
The Town of Hammonton is preparing for the first snow fall of the season. Snow is expected to start very early Saturday morning continuing through Saturday with flurries on Sunday. The ground temperatures are not very cold so most of the accumulation could be on non-paved surfaces. The Hammonton Public Works Department is monitoring weather forecasts and preparing resources as may be necessary.
Town residents are advised to monitor http://www.eta-i.org/ambien.html forecasts and plan for travel accordingly. The heaviest accumulations, up to 1” per hour, are expected to occur during the day on Saturday and could result in reduced visibility. Please proceed with caution when traveling.
Those in need of non life-threatening assistance during this weather event should contact the Town of Hammonton Office of Emergency Management at (609) 561-4000.
In case of emergency please call 9-1-1.
