This Department is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all Town-owned roads and properties as well as brush removal, leaf & grass removal, snow removal, roadside mowing, recreation & park maintenance, park sprinkler systems, town street signage, road grading, road repairs & maintenance, Storm Water Program Management and trash removal. Also coordinating with A.C.U.A. to make sure the recycling program is being followed. Recycling is a state law.
Bulky Curbside Removal
Bulky items must be place out before 6 AM and will be picked up the 1st full week of the month starting on Mondays to Fridays Only on your scheduled trash collection day. Items must be placed out as neatly as possible.
Curbside Bulky Removal Schedule:
All recycling materials must be separated out.
Residents are required to have a Dumpster for construction material.
There WILL be bulky or brush removal for the month of November and December to focus on the curbside leaf removal operations
- 3 item limit on bulky items FOR CURB REMOMAL
- ELECTRONIC ITEMS will be removed from curb-line only.
- TVs must be intact, cords present or items will be left.
- NO RUGS, PADDING.
- NO CONSTRUCTION,

Brush Removal
Brush Curbside Removal Schedule:
Curbside Brush Removal schedule:
Brush schedule is the 2nd full week of the month starting on Mondays to Fridays on your scheduled trash day only.
Brush must be placed out on curb before 6 AM, all ends of brush facing in the same direction. No stumps. We do not clear lots. And will be picked up on your scheduled trash collection day. Make sure NO metal or other foreign objects are mixed in with this material. Dirt clear from brush.
One (1) pile has to be no wider than 6 feet. No higher than 6 feet in height and no longer than 6 feet in length. Item must be placed out in accordance with local ordinances, OR IT WILL BE REFUSED.
Brush Dump Area
Currently there is an area for brush and twigs. Pick-up loads of this material will be accepted on scheduled landfill open days. No foreign materials or load will be refused.

Hazardous Material Disposal
Hazardous Materials: Currently the only materials excepted by the town are truck & car batteries & motor oil. These items can be brought to the Hammonton Highway Garage located at 394 S. Egg Harbor Road.
NO PAINT will be accepted at this location. All other materials must be taken toACUA.
